What is TPE ?
TPE compounds can be custom formulated for optimum bonding to substrate materials during insert or multi-shot overmolding or combined with other technologies to offer anti-static/conductive, flame retardant, wear resistant or color/appearance properties. The development of thermoplastic elastomers, TPEs, can be confidently called a material revolution, which has enabled the success of a multitude of products from diverse industries in recent years.Thermoplastic elastomers are positioned between plastic (thermoplastics) and rubber (elastomers) in terms of structure and behaviour. The fact that TPEs combine the positive characteristics of thermoplastics on the one hand and elastomers on the other is now of advantage to both product developers and designers and to processors.

WHAT is TPV?
TPV (EPDM/PP) Thermoplastic Vulcanizats are obtained by mixing thermoplastic phase (PP) and rubber phase (EPDM) to form a homogenous and balanced phase dispersion and then vulcanized chemicals are added in the mixture. TPV have the features of flexibility, UV&ozon resistance, low remaining deformation etc. obtained with this method besides they have the ability of machinability at plastic injection and extrusion machines.
FEATURES OF TPV
Lasting deformation
They are grouped as black EPDM's, A Class Elastomers, colored EPDM's B Class Elastomers. In thermoplastics, color seperation is not made. It is clearly seen that the lasting deformation values in B class EPDM' and TPV are the same.
Hardness:
TPV's can be obtained in desired hardness in a wide interval between 20 Shore A and 70 Shore D
UV&Ozon Resistance:
TPV's are perfect UV&Ozon resistant materials.
Cold Hot Resistance:
TPV's have -40 ve +130 C temperature resistance. For this reason, they can be used in a wide ara from Siberia to Arabian countries.
Color options:
TPV's can be obtained with endless colors. So, they can be manufactured with all colors in RAL catalogue.
Recycling:
TPV's is a green friendly material that do not give damage to the environment and nature as they can recycable.
Welding ability:
TPV's have adhering ability with heat.so, it enablesco-ex or co-injection type manufacturing and give positive results in processes that require welding.
