WHAT IS TPE ?
| |
TPE compounds can be custom formulated for optimum bonding to substrate materials during insert or multi-shot overmolding or combined with other technologies to offer anti-static/conductive, flame retardant, wear resistant or color/appearance properties. The development of thermoplastic elastomers, TPEs, can be confidently called a material revolution, which has enabled the success of a multitude of products from diverse industries in recent years.Thermoplastic elastomers are positioned between plastic (thermoplastics) and rubber (elastomers) in terms of structure and behaviour. The fact that TPEs combine the positive characteristics of thermoplastics on the one hand and elastomers on the other is now of advantage to both product developers and designers and to processors.

WHAT IS TPV ?
TPVs,Thermoplastic Vulcanizates, are produced by the process of intimate melt mixing a polypropylene and a suitable EPDM rubber to generate a chemically cross-linked rubbery phase. This resulting product has not only the properties of the EPDM rubber, but also it can be processed easily in any plastic extrusion machine.

| Hardness: |
|
| |
Thermoplastics can be produced in any hardnesses between 20 Shore A up to 70 Shore D. |
| UV & Ozone Resistance: |
|
| |
TPV has an excellent resistance againts UV and Ozone. Our gaskets meet the requirements of the definite tolerances for the colour and quality stated at the UV&Ozone tests of SKZ. |
| Heat & Cold Resistance: |
|
| |
TPVs stand temperatures ranges from -40 C up to + 130 C.Accordingly, our gaskets can be used easily from Siberia to Arabic countries without any deformation. |
| Colour Alternatives: |
|
| |
There is no limitation on colouring any material made up of themoplastics.Any choice of yours from the RAL catalogue is producable. |
| Recyclability: |
|
| |
Thermoplastics are easy to recycle ,hence, they are an environmental friendly material which causes no harm nature. |
| Corner Welding: |
|
| |
Since TPV has a property of adherence through heat, you will have no problem during your corner welding processes for the PVC profiles for windows and doors. |
